Axis 1000eyes is a joint venture product developed by Axis Communications together with 1000eyes GmbH.
1000eyes is specialized on Internet-based video applications (video over IP) and leading provider of Hosted Video Security solutions.
The focus of the company is on the development of modern technology for video surveillance and image-based information transmission via the Internet. 1000eyes applications operate with the efficiency of local video surveillance systems without any functional limitations, and they run 100% via the Internet. The products are designed as plug and play system and come without the requirement of additional hardware beside a network camera. The unique architecture is saving costs and offers in addition to the freedom from maintenance also much more security than conventional solutions, e.g. due to the decentralized storage, no unauthorized person can remove or alter the recordings. The cameras are also not accessible by third party because there are no Portforwardings etc. due to the unique Client-Server architecture.
The strict use of latest security mechanisms and redundant storage in high secure data centers ensure that the user's images and videos are safe with 1000eyes, and are protected to the highest level of confidentiality.
